It’s one thing to look good on paper, and another to make genuine industry connections that go the distance.

Forth helps young talent realize their potential and make meaningful industry connections. We equip aspiring professionals with the strategies, tools, and networks to enter the world of work with confidence. At the same time, we maintain a direct line to the corporate world, helping employers navigate new hires and cultivate confident leaders.

We’re coaches. We’re connectors. And once upon a time, we were in the same shoes as those who reach out to us. Now, we leverage that experience – and our strategic approach – to help young people shake hands with their future career.

Meet Elle

There’s no shortage of advice for aspiring young professionals. You could explore any number of avenues – your college career center, your parents, job boards, LinkedIn – and still be no closer to the next step in your career path.

Forth cuts through the noise of the job search.

Our online coaching program and exclusive access to our network of prospective employers prepares young talent for the world of work. At the same time, we maintain a direct line to the corporate world, helping employers navigate new hires and cultivate confident leaders through workshops, training days and consultations.

Founded by Elle Overholt, a career development expert specializing in young talent, Forth was born from a determination to make the transition from college to career less challenging. A natural overachiever, Elle landed a job at a top consulting firm immediately after graduating from Georgia Tech Business School in 2015. But, like so many young graduates, she initially struggled to navigate her experience in the workplace.

“I was a student athlete, a full-time student, working part-time, doing internships every summer, paying my way through college and dreaming about what lay ahead for me in the real world. When I eventually landed my first job out of college, it didn’t go at all how I expected. I quickly realized the job I had accepted didn’t match with my skills and experience. At that point, I knew I had to help keep other students from making the same mistakes I did.”

– Elle Overholt, Founder, Forth

In 2018, Elle set forth on her mission to teach talented students how to hone in on their skill set, advocate for themselves in the job search, and start their careers in a role that embraces their strengths. Since then, Elle has worked with thousands of students at Louisiana State University and interns at the Baton Rouge Area Chamber. She’s been the keynote speaker at the Mississippi and Louisiana Association of Colleges and Employers. She’s coached Shell Chemical Plant employees on resumes and interviewing. She’s been the Hiring Director for Break Into Business, an Atlanta non-profit helping young people launch new businesses.
